FAQ's and Terms of the 100k challenge!!!
1) You do not need to be a client of Wilson Financial to participate in the 100k challenge! If there is a way to help you quickly and easily we will find it!
2) Expectations: The easiest way for us to help you is to renegotiate your EXISTING home loan. If you are with any of the majors and a few other lenders we can often do this. There is no charge, but we may be inundated so we just need patience. Negotiating pricing is fun for us but it does take time and man/woman-power so bear with us. If we cannot renegotiate with your lender we may be able to offer you some other solutions
3) Fixed rates: Fixed rates are locked in - we cannot negotiate these sorry! If you break a fixed rate with any lender there can be costs - so if your loan is fixed it may not be the best time to be 'shopping' around or trying to negotiate it, they call it fixed for a reason.... sorry!!
4) Everybody is different! Some people are able to save $3,000 in a heartbeat, others nothing. All loans, all lenders, all clients are different, that is why we called it a 'Challenge' !
5) Refinance: Sometimes if we cannot renegotiate pricing for you, we will illustrate the rate and fee savings on a refinance across a four year cast. We will not be counting any of those savings towards the 100k challenge if it does not proceed any further. We will count it once it's approved in full however! It's important to us that this is challenge is met with integrity, and that the savings are REAL!
6) We are recording, anonymously the savings we are making for people to tally the 100k Challenge. We will share this data as we go!
