Supporting Friends Of the Wingecarribee Animal Shelter
Every month we donate to the Wingecarribee Animal Shelter to assist with the dog training program. Below is the latest update from the shelter:
Shona Seymour, previously known as Positive Business Dog Training, has rebranded her business to By Your Side Dog Training Coach. Despite the name change, everything else remains the same. Shona continues to be contracted by FOWAS, providing weekly training for the dogs at the shelter.
In September, Shona maintained her dedication to all the shelter dogs, with special attention given to Ira, a 7-month-old Greyhound X who has been a long-term resident. Ira has progressed beyond basic training, though as a young dog, he still tends to get overly excited when meeting new people. |
September Adoption Statistics:
Shona is also focusing on basic training enhancements with Paris, Bonnie, Daisy, and Mulder, all of whom require extra attention to help them reach their full potential.
FOWAS was thrilled to participate in Dogs Day Out at Tulip Time, Corbett Gardens, Bowral, on 30th September 2024 as guests of Southern Highlands Tourism. It was a fantastic event, and we enjoyed sharing the marquee with staff from the Wingecarribee Animal Shelter, along with Ira and Yasmin, two of our adoptable dogs. The day was a great success, and we were happy to raise funds for the shelter.
