Supporting Friends Of the Wingecarribee Animal Shelter 

​Every month we donate to the Wingecarribee Animal Shelter to assist with the dog training program. Recently, our sponsorship has been contributing to the new animal shelter and animal care. Below is the latest update from the shelter:

Thank you once again for Wilson's Financial's generous monthly sponsorship. Your invaluable support has enabled us to cover a portion of the surgical costs for Sophie the cat, who required multiple dental extractions along with a scale and polish. We are pleased to share that Sophie recovered exceptionally well from her procedure, is now eating comfortably, and has since been adopted into a loving home.

Wombat is November's dog of the month. Could you be his forever home?

Adoptions throughout October were strong for cats, while numbers were slower for kittens and dogs. ​

Unfortunately, staff and animals have not yet been able to move into the new animal shelter due to an outbreak of kennel cough. All dogs at the shelter are doing well, and we hope to provide you with an update next month regarding the transition to the new facility.

​ADOPTION PROCESS:
- Please call FOWAS (48685120) to discuss suitability and to arrange a time for a meet and greet
- At the meet and greet you will receive an application if you wish to apply
- All animals come desexed, vaccinated, lifetime registered, having been treated for fleas and worms.
