Following graduation from Newcastle University in 2001 Liz Wilson was selected into a graduate program with one of Australia’s leading banks. Excelling in her new role, Liz became a branch lender and territory wide relief branch manager within 9 months. Wilson Financial was instituted in 2003 with a franchise in Sydney and from 2005 to 2010 Liz ran “Port Home Loans” in Queensland's Port Douglas, Liz won the prestigious “Young Gun of the Year” and “Rookie of the Year” at the 2008 Australian Mortgage Awards. Ten years on the business is now running in Bowral in the Southern Highlands. Despite moving the business around the country Liz is still servicing all her original clients. Wilson Financial Liz offers services to both Australian and international clients and is focused on tailoring your financial requirements to your unique lifestyle and goals. With over a 18 years in banking and broking experience and a wealth of knowledge of the banking and finance sectors, Liz offers you an unprecedented level of service, acting as a singular point of contact to manage your financial needs from inception to completion. George Root - Financial Planner
George Root is the head of our Financial Planning division. This service is designed to ensure that as your wealth and lending grow, we can offer the direction and protection to keep your wealth and security on track.
A little about George... Originally from Perth, he spent thirteen years growing up in the United Arab Emirates. Prior to joining Wilson Financial he worked for a large Financial Planning Firm in Sydney. In 2014 he made the move to the Southern Highlands with his wife and son, which he says is one of the best decisions he has ever made. In early 2016 George welcomed his second child into the world, beautiful baby Edie.
George has a passion for dealing with people and brings a wealth of knowledge, enthusiasm and personality to Wilson Financial. We are very excited to have him on board in order to provide this new suite of services to our valued clients.

Geoff Lisle joined us in 2019 after a long 40 years in the banking sector.
After a career of 40 years in Banking, he had watched the growth of the broking market continue to expand at a very fast and impressive rate. The Broking industry offers such a vast and diverse choice for clients, it’s no wonder that Brokers now write greater than 50% of business written.

Chris Tracey - Broker
Chris Tracey moved to the Southern Highlands in 2016 and has been operating as a local broker since then. He decided to jump over to the Wilson Financial team in late 2019 to work with a team and offer diversified services.
Chris has a wealth of business, commerical and residential finance experience having worked for three of the four big banks already, across thirty years. He has been a small business owner himself, loves photography, and is Liz's resident sci fi expert. He is a fantastic all rounder for all those self employed clients but will assist with any type of finance enquiry.

Abby Doyle - Broker
Abby joined Wilson Financial in 2014 after leaving a large local accounting firm, so has a good understanding and background in figures.
She has a positive vibe and a can-do attitude. Abby specialises in first home buyers, refinancing, construction lending, yes she does it all ! Abby is also our resident non-conforming specialist. There is nothing she can't handle! She loves a challenge.
Abby and husband Rick welcomed their first child into the world, gorgeous baby Scarlett during 2016 followed by Emily in 2018.
In Abby's spare time you'll find her bending it like Beckham on the soccer field, sewing, cooking or enjoying a hot cup of tea whilst catching up with friends.

Jaimi Jackson - Broker
Jaimi joined Wilson Financial in 2015 after a career in Childcare and also office administration and accounts for another small local business. Seeking more challenges and personal growth, Jaimi happily accepted the offer to join Wilson Financial shortly after using our services.
That's right, we were so impressed with Jaimi as a client, we had to ask if she wanted a job here! She practically ran the show when we tried to organise her mortgage for her.. thankfully she said yes as she has turned out to be a natural just as we anticipated.
An avid scrap-booker, interior designer, property investor and renovator, Jaimi is as passionate about property as we are. Caring at heart and efficient by nature, we are excited to introduce Jaimi to our vibrant team at Wilson Financial. Jaimi is a fully qualified mentor and was listed as a finalist in the Business Excellence Awards in 2018.
Jaimi is presently on maternity leave as she joined motherhood this year with her new baby Romeo.

Colin Daniels - Broker
Colin joined the team in June 2018 after working in finance for over three years. He has worked in both lending, administration and sales prior to joining the team at Wilson Financial. He also sports a Bachelor of Commerce from Wollongong University.
Colin is a fully qualified mortgage broker that works from his own patch in Wollongong. So if you're down the coast, Colin can meet you at the Smart Space offices in North Wollongong.
He recently married the lovely Louisa, and travelled to New Zealand for his honeymoon. Colin enjoys bushwalking, traveling and catching up with his friends on the weekend.
